Halfway through the season Floris van Bommel always launches a small addition to his collection. This autumn it consists of these fabulous and shiny brushed leather loafers
Brushed leather is sturdy and shiny calf leather which has been covered by a dark layer of wax at the time the skins enter our factory. The layer is not brushed off the leather until the shoes have been completely finished. This results in shiny shoes with a deep and transparent colour. The seams, stitchings and curves get an attractive shade because these are the very places where the brush leaves just a tiny bit more of the black wax layer behind.

Wat zijn dit prachtige schoenen zeg. Ze doen mij denken aan een elegante, gladde vis. Zijn deze schoenen niet langer verkrijgbaar? Erg jammer.. ik zou er diep voor in de buidel tasten.
