Floris van Bommel is teaming up with superstar Daniel Brühl for an exciting spring/summer 2012 season. Floris and Daniel have been working on an exclusive 'Floris van Bommel für Daniel Bruhl' sneaker for the German market. The entire profits from sales of this shoe will go to the German Aids Association’s Dream project. Dream offers help to pregnant women infected with HIV and their babies in several areas in Africa.

 In case you don’t know... Daniel Brühl has acted in international blockbusters such as 'Inglourious Basterds', 'Goodbye Lenin and 'The Bourne Ultimatum'. On film sets he rubs shoulders with the likes of Clive Owen, Carice van Houten, Brad Pitt and Benicio del Toro.

 Floris: "Daniel Bruhl is one of the coolest European actors of my generation. He acts completely independently, turns down blockbusters just because he's not comfortable with them. Disciplined work in a great career and a beautiful life. I love his style." 

Floris asked one of his favourite photographers Thomas Rabsch to organise the best photo shoot ever. The three of them wandered through Cologne for a day ending up in a barbershop where they shot the campaign image. Other way more dramatic locations like the legendary concert hall 'Underground' and artists workshop 'Odonien' were very cool too, but the barbershop was better.
